The perfect voice clarity is developed with the engineered acoustic layering of Calma; reaching 0,30 sec of reverberation time. Constantly tested and redeveloped within the in-house Acoustic Lab; materials used to create our pods sets the new standards in the industry. Unlike others; our pods ensure a balanced blockage of both low and high-frequency sounds.
Our acoustic pods are crafted entirely from No VOC materials, ensuring that your health is never compromised. Engineered to maintain constant fresh air circulation, we ensure carbon levels below 1000 ppm and air exchange 106 times per hour.
Airflow refers to the movement of air within a space, crucial for maintaining good IAQ by dispersing pollutants and bringing in fresh air. Proper airflow ensures that contaminants are diluted and removed from the indoor environment, reducing the concentration of harmful substances.
The air exchange rate is a measure of how often the air within a space is replaced with outdoor air. It is typically measured in air changes per hour (ACH). For example, the average meeting room has an air exchange rate of 6-8 times per hour. Higher air exchange rates improve IAQ by continuously introducing fresh air and removing stale air.
Advanced pods are designed to achieve higher air exchange rates, ensuring better ventilation and air quality. For instance, some pods offer an air exchange rate of up to 106 times per hour, which is 17 times more effective than a typical meeting room. This high rate of air circulation helps maintain optimal air quality by reducing the buildup of pollutants and maintaining comfortable CO2 levels.
Airflow in indoor spaces can be achieved through natural ventilation (windows, vents) and mechanical ventilation systems (HVAC). Modern pods often incorporate both, with additional features like double redundancy fans that ensure continuous air movement even if one system fails. Airflow direction can also be adjusted, allowing for top-down or bottom-up ventilation based on user preference.
Good airflow not only enhances IAQ but also contributes to thermal comfort, reduces humidity levels, and prevents the growth of mold and mildew. Effective ventilation systems are crucial for creating healthy, comfortable, and productive indoor environments.

Our pods are crafted using a zero-waste, HDF powder coating process, which eliminates any VOC (organic and inorganic) emissions and results in a fine-grained, antibacterial surface that is easy to clean and maintain. This process also uses lower heat (130-140°C) for curing a thermoset, durable surface, reducing energy consumption compared to traditional methods. The product’s structure incorporates responsibly sourced materials, including FSC MIX certified, CARB2, and NAF wood, and 50% recycled PET felt. Our pods hold multiple certifications, including Indoor Air Quality Gold, supported using Basotect G+ layers instead of conventional stone-wool insulations, enhancing acoustic performance and environmental sustainability. We have partnered with Cease Fire®, the leader in automatic fire suppression systems. The Cease Fire® units have been tested to UL 1254 standards and fall under NFPA-17. Each unit has the ability to suppress A, B, C class fire hazards and is UL listed.
The Cease Fire® Unit is self-activating. Each unit is designed to initiate automatically by means of a sprinkler head rated at 155ºF (68ºC). The temperature rating for each sprinkler head is stamped on the star shaped deflector in both Fahrenheit and Celsius measurements. The temperature of the sprinkler head is fixed and must be designated at the time of purchase. When the temperature rise to activate the Cease Fire® unit, the sprinkler head opens automatically and dispenses the entire contents in less than 10 seconds onto the fire and throughout the enclosure being protected.
